The month of October has three birthdays and an anniversary in my family. My mom, sister and Casey are the birthdays - that's three Libras. My dad keeps telling me Libras are crazy. I guess he would know; he's had many years of experience dealing with them.
Anyway, instead of celebrating these four events separately, we decided to go to Bonefish Grill at the Lehigh Valley Mall last Friday night. My parents and sister have been there before and rave about it. Casey, my brother and I were never there. The three of us were excited to go. We heard a lot of good things from people.
Our reservations were for 6:30 pm and Bonefish was packed. But it was cool inside. It didn’t feel like we were at a mall, which is good because I despise malls. It had a big city hip feel to it. Good music was being played and had a neat layout.
Now to the most important part of any restaurant experience, the food. We started out with calamari and bang bang shrimp. The calamari was fantastic with its delicious dipping sauce. The bang bang was even better, but if you can’t handle spicy don’t even think about it. For the main course I had Seafood Imperial with garlic mashed potatoes on the side - it was awesome.
Everybody enjoyed their meal, especially my brother who got lobster tail. He made out better than any of the birthday girls!
